Prodyne Iced Pitcher, 3.25 Quarts, Clear

I LOVE this pitcher! With my next purchase I'm ordering another one. I've already thrown away 1 of my other pitchers. It looks like glass but it's way lighter. I have arthritis in my hands, they get sore and sometimes weak. I love the ergonomic shape of the handle, it's beefy and has the perfect shape to be gripped easily without causing strain. I drink a lot of tea and powdered drinks, this pitcher works out perfectly. The last time I ordered a 2 quart pitcher, it only held 2 quarts if you filled it to the bring. Without the core this is a little over half full at 2 quarts. You can easily fit 3 quarts without the core. I really like that it's clear, my hibiscus tea looks beautiful in it. If you make a summer punch with fruit, it's going to look lovely on the table. I really like the cover, it works great, it has a pointed pour spout which to me is a big plus compared to low grade pitchers that have a pour spout that doesn't stay clean. I'm pretty sure if you use this outside you will have no worries about a bug getting into your drink. The cover has a tip that lifts up if you do have fruit in your drink and you want some to come out or you can leave it down and the drink will still pour out. This cleans up beautifully unlike lesser plastic or vinyl pitchers which scratch and stain over time. Some people commented that this was an expensive pitcher. I disagree, there are many options available that cost twice as much as this or more. Remember, "You get what you pay for" this is an excellent pitcher. It does not have any lines to indicate volume. My old pitcher has measuring lines so I filled it with water, poured it into this pitcher to find my 2 quart line. That's the only negative thing I have to say about the pitcher, for me it's not an issue.
