It's a winner! Quality for the price!

We liked everything. We're senior citizens and I have used high quality stainless steel since forever. But my husband also likes to cook some and he asked me to get a non-stick pan for oatmeal, rice and other things that like to stick. This was the one I picked Thar I thought would be good quality for the price and I think we got a winner. We love the steam vent, the clear glass lid and the non stick will low us to use metal utensils if we need to. I think we've used it 2 or 3 times a week for about 3 months and haven't had anything stick in it yet.

Dream pot

Where have you been all my life? Had to replace a T-fal pot of same size because coating was damaged. I have glass top stove and this pot works on lower temps and the nonstick feature is terrific even with melted cheese! Have 2 fry pans that match and love them too!

Better than expected.

I've been cooking for over 50 years and have seen and used many different pots in my time, and since I'm only cooking for one or two most of the time this is the perfect size for chili, soups and even pasta, especially if you aren't needing a pound at a time. This is a much nicer pot than I expected, especially at the price point. I have several PW casserole dishes and a few of her other pieces, which have all been great quality so I should have known that the quality of this pot would be nice, but at about $28, I wasn't expecting much. So while I wish it were a little heavier weight for the pot itself, I feel that this pot will last me for years to come, especially if my great nieces and nephews don't get ahold of it and turn the temperature too high. That's the biggest thing with thinner pots and pans, MOST SHOULD NEVER BE USED OVER MEDIUM HEAT! I can't seem to get that through to them. I've had some of my nonstick pots for over 20 years and they're still going strong because I take care of them. Hand washing, NEVER metal utensils and letting cool before washing. Plus, things were just made better back then, although the technology of nonstick has improved a lot in those 20 years, the biggest thing that hasn't changed is that the ONLY nonstick that is suitable for high heat cooking is still cast iron. Maybe that's why stainless steel pots and pans are so expensive, most can be used at higher temperatures, especially if heavy enough. Overall I really like this pot and love the color.
