these are soft to touch, absorb fast . come folded but lay flat quickly. the backing is nonskid works great. Placed one on ceramic tile kitchen floor where dog lays and it made for a non slip spot for the dog to lay. I've washed several at a time, light weight so not problem for the washer, hung on line to dry dried fast. I like these so much I have used them in front of bathroom and kitchen sink to absorb spills and so easy to wash compared to a rubber backed rug. have bought these 3 times now as I discovered other uses. wish more design choices for the non pet use.

these look good with good design . fast to absorb, dont leak, easily wash and dried fast. i bought more and put these in my bathroom and kitchen by sink and frig instead of heavy hard to wash rugs. dog seems to like laying on them. non slip. however one i put on top of carpet crept when walked on.
