The podiatrist gave me an injection in my heel for the Plantar Fasciitis that didn't help immediately and recommended these inserts to replace the old inserts from The Good Feet Store. EXPENSIVE (not as bad as The Good Feet Store), but they do help. I was using them in 2 different shoes as they are easy to take out and put in, but my second pair of shoes turned out to be slightly larger so I had to order another pair. My husband has an old pair of inserts that were custom-made. His feet are the same size as mine, so he tried them out and I ordered him a pair.
