I grew-up eating Braunschweiger (AKA Liverwurst), and love using it in sandwiches and various appetizers. John Morrell's brand has a consistent taste and texture. And the one pound package is perfect for my family. They do offer smaller amounts too, should you not need as much.

Absolutely worth the cost

With rising prices, finding any sort of meat product for $3.32/lb is a win. The flavor of the liverwurst is excellent, maybe not as perfect as Boar's Head brand, but it's 1/3 of the price of Boar's Head. This is a cheap, nutritious protien that happens to taste delicious on a sandwich.

love this, it's very smooth to spread on bread to make a sandwich. For our family holiday parties we make a ball out of it after we win it with something, I can't remember what it is, then cover the ball with cream cheese and out it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. YUM
