Works well getting powder meds into my cat!

These pouches do make quick and easy cat treats, but I use these more for giving powder meds to my cat. I squeeze one of these into his food bowl and mix them in. There's a small amount in the tube which is perfect for some meds. If I mix them into his regular wet food and he doesn't finish all of it, I know he didn't get all the medication in. He always laps this up so I know he got the right amount. Then he gets his regular food. When he gets liquid meds I use a single serving size plastic container of wet food, because he notices the taste of those more so I need a larger amount of food to hide it in.

I have the most picky cat on the planet. He won't try anything new, and only likes his food and the occasional bite of tuna. The first time I tried this, he couldn't figure out what to do with it. I ended up squeezing it out on a plate and he ate about half. The second tube I tried, I couldn't squeeze it out fast enough! He realized that he loved it!

Tasty Tubes

I've never met a cat that didn't love these tube treats. My girl loves all the Pure Balance flavors and gets one tube every night before bed. She will cry and dance around when it's close to her treat time, and she slurps it up while barely taking a breath. When we still had my girl's sister, these treats helped get some extra fluid into her because she hated drinking water.
