These were ordered for a large, 65 lb dog in heat, and waist measuring guide was accurate, but if on the borderline, go to larger size. Very easy to get on and off. Size was good, absobancy was good, did not irritate my dog's skin. Out of 20 days wearing them she only chewed a tab off twice. One diaper lasted all day for her. The 1 day delivery was a lifesaver, because a huge ice storm hit the next day, and no delivery was possible for almost 2 weeks! Very pleased overall!

Convenient and economical

I have an elderly dog who forgets sometimes its NOT OK to pee in the apartment. I ordered these diapers for her and my first recommendation is to be sure you get a size big enough for your dog. If you have a normal size retriever or german shepherd you definitely need an XL. My dog is 78 pounds and I got an XL but I think an XXL might be better. I can't speak to absorbency because somehow the very presence of the diapers makes her not want to go pee.
