Cannot say enough good things about this product. I don't know how it works, but it does. I have an old dishwasher and just thought it had lost its ability to clean. Received a sample of this product once, threw it in, and all of a sudden I had the best dishwasher in the world. Now I will only order this stuff. When my brother, whose dishwasher is top of the line complained that he thought his dishwasher was not functioning, I recommended this product. He hemmed and hawed, but finally gave in and purchased it. He is no longer replacing his dishwasher either. The biggest problem with this product is that it works so well that eventually you get overconfident and start putting everything that needs cleaning in the dishwasher without regard to logic. The product is a super hero, not a miracle worker. Normal food after a normal meal will come right off. Baked on foods burnt into the ceramic is pretty much there until you hand scrub it off... but you have to try ;)
