Excellent electric teakettle that negates the need to carry an open pot of boiling water across my kitchen. However, it can be very noisy in the morning’s wee hours-> solution: I plug it in my garage %26 don’t worry about waking up the wife. Heats 1.8 liters (about 60 ounces) of water in about 5-6 minutes (at sea level).
