The set up is relatively simple and all the instructions were very clear. It's much more sturdy than my last bedframe and I love that the bottom frame itself is metal and not made out of wood planks. The doors on the bottom that slide out are very simple to pull out. They are not on a track, but they are easy to move back-and-forth.
