Best organic asparagus I have bought at Walmart. Slim stalks with tight compact heads. It was delicious. Much better than the last delivery of woody and 1/2 " stalks. Great improvement Walmart!

Fresh Asparagus NOT so Fresh!

Very disappointed in the Gourmet Organic Asparagus! I needed them for a Crudite plater, but the stems were all limp and wrinkled, not crisp at all! They did not appear fresh (seems like they used to keep fresh asparagus standing in trays of water that was changed out every day to keep it fresh) they obviously don't do that anymore. Because when I buy "good" asparagus I get a couple bunches and trim the very ends when I get it home; I then store it in 1 - 2 inches of fresh water in the frig, which I change every 2 days, and the asparagus last at least 2 weeks. sometimes longer. So it is really difficult to find words to express the disgust when you buy a so called fresh product and it is in such POOR condition!!!!!
