Works great for things other than boats!

This was perfect for use on my patio to hold up a fabric awning over my hot-tub. It was less expensive and so much easier than trying to rig up something by myself. I plan on getting my son one for his boat. I have it sitting on top off the hot-tub cover. I realized I had to do something to prevent rainwater from collecting in the center of the awning, which is not a permanent solution, but will work out just fine until our next hurricane!
