Sturdy and just the right size.

Perfect stool for sitting by my bedside - is the height I need (~6 inches), and is just big enough for my feet so it doesn't get in the way when moving about the bedroom. My feet don't slide on the top and the stool stays in place unless I push it (have a low carpet, bet it would be even harder to move on a higher pile carpet). Folds nicely for storage and is light enough that it should travel well.
