This product is far better than described because it has a low and high temperature identification capability as well as high accuracy. Also, the unit can be popped out of its holder and used in a much smaller form factor in a pocket or an ice chest. Refrigerators can have significant swings in temperature including to freezing when set to say 36 degrees and this unit can track that. Such a range isn't what one wants for insulin for example. The Thermometer has a reset button one uses to reset to start the High low tracking whenever one wants. That reading is a single point high and low for any time period. The price makes having more than one in a refrigerator painless to do such as in the door as well as on the top or on the bottom or wherever one keeps the most temperature sensitive product.
