I actually had the regular dark room 4 person tent before and it was fricking awesome. Then my ex boyfriend kept it. I bought this new dark room 4 room with the additional covered area, and man... I am so pleased. I am happy I stuck with this style tent from Coleman. Its waterproof and does well when its really hot.

This is my second one of these, I damaged a pole on my first one but that was all my fault. I really like the darkroom technology and the extra space that you get with the foyer, it's great for storage of gear.

Great Tent. Set up a bit complicated

We recently bought this tent and took it on a weekend camping trip. It was really spacious, and the dark room technology was super nice in the morning. I have a feeling we are going to love the screened in porch, and I really like that my dog can sleep separately from us (ticks). The only issue is that the tent is a little complicated to set up and the included instructions aren't very detailed. I'm a lifelong camper and still had to watch a video to figure it out, but basically the tent needs to be staked out to retain it's shape. The ground where we went camping was loose and we weren't able to get the stakes to hold in place, but we made it work. Hopefully this weekend will be better.
