I had never really used retinol before this product, and was a little nervous because I felt I had generally sensitive skin. However, this product is wonderful. I have noticed a difference in my skin's texture, which I had been unhappy with before. I have also noticed that my skin is less red and irritated and also appears more glowy and healthy. I'm a big big fan.

Skin tolerates it! Yay!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First retinol that does not irritate the heck out of my 56 year's “experienced” skin. I've tried other OTC and prescription retinoids since my 40's. Even after getting through the typical purge period, I discontinued using because my skin just looked terrible. The potential benefits of using a Vitamin A did not outweigh how awful my skin looked. All the other products actually aged my skin which obviously was NOT the goal. Have been very pleased with step 1 thus far. Looking forward to finally seeing some reduction in fine lines and forehead wrinkles.

The best retinol I have ever used
This is seriously the best retinol I have ever used, and I have tried my fair share. This product is perfect for dry and sensitive skin as it has never dried out my skin, caused a break out, or irritated my skin but is still doing its job! I swear by this beginner friendly retinol, I recommend it to all my friends. I also love the sustainability aspect that all of fig. 1 cares for. While, I would love for the company to be more transparent on the fairness for workers, I am glad they are taking steps to be a transparent company.
