Great size, great for holidays and picnics

I have only used this once but so far it's done a good job. I liked the idea of being able to cook a casserole in this size of crockpot, or anything you'd want to space out. My countertop did get warm to the touch but no different than my other crockpots make them. I am happy I bought this, will be extra handy come holidays and picnics.

This Magic Chef Casserole replaced a 20 year old Rival crockpot casserole with the same insert and functions. After a very long and happy life, the ceramic casserole dish cracked. After searching for several weeks, I finally found this Magic Chef. I'm happy to say that it's nearly identical to the one I had. If it performs as well as my old one, I'll be forever grateful (and so will my descendants)!
