Almost perfect

One little quibble: The lid is definitely splash proof IF it stays in place, but when I insert it and then close the stopper on freshly-brewed very hot tea, and start walking, the pressure of the. . . heat? I guess? immediately lifts the lid out of place to the point that I get nervous it might pop out as I'm trying to gather my things to head out the door. This is the downside of a press-on top, and the only fix is to NOT press the stopper fully closed in that situation. Still very little chance of splashing if I'm reasonably careful. The upside is a more pleasant drinking experience (smooth and thin lip) when I'm not using the lid. I love the ceramic coating which does NOT absorb tea stains at all (unlike so-called stainless steel) and this tumbler keeps my tea much hotter much longer than my previous (lost) KKanteen equivalent (plus this travel lid is much nicer to drink from). I recently tried a similar sized Sbx stainless steel tumbler that leached all the heat within 30 minutes. The Rtic tumbler is overall extremely well-engineered and also very beautiful.

Love these! Ceramic lined is the best!

I've ordered at least a half dozen of the various styles of cups, tumblers and water bottles. I am very pleased with the ceramic interiors. They are a game changer. Go for it! One word of advice if you personalize with the etching. Make sure your uploaded graphic is a very simple design as it will produce a higher level image. I uploaded a few images that were designed for my vinyl cutter and with all the extra detail, the final image was not clean or attractive.

Essential Pint Tumbler

This is the best tumbler I have ever had! There ceramic liner makes all the difference! There is no after taste from a stainless steel liner plus it never looks clean once it is stained. I love that my coffee stays hot for the full 6 hours as stated on the website.
