Shopping for a low priced steamer is confusing. I chose this based on the reviews and price, and I am satisfied for the few times that I used it. It takes only 35 seconds to begin to steam. I use this on both lightweight shirts, and denim jeans. Be aware that you must use distilled water only.

I tend to be skeptical of something that has a low price but this has worked great so far. One review mentioned the small hole for putting water in the tank - it is small but I just poured water from the gallon jug of distilled water into a water bottle and it was easy to pour from that.

I needed a portable steamer for laundry/ household cleaning, my house has older washer and dryer that use gas to provide heat... I find small appliances more money saving for single people on a tight budget. this steamer puts out sufficient heat at reasonable wattage to steam clean anything! would recommend!!
