The infusion of charcoal seemed like an unconventional, but it works wonders in detoxifying my scalp, effectively drawing out impurities without stripping it dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the smell of this shampoo it smells like matcha. The shampoo is effective and makes my hair feel much cleaner with the build up of products. The cold press is also refreshing. I would be nervous to use this long term on my color treated hair, but with the first few uses it did not strip my color at all. I’m not sure if I will use it weekly, but when I feel like my hair has a buildup of products it will definitely be in the rotation. I do highly recommend as a clarifying shampoo.
