Like many other things I'm very picky about my pizza sauce. I like to make homemade pizza and it's so important to use a really great pizza sauce. Great Value pizza sauce is really great. It's not too thin or too thick. It's just right and the flavor is great.

Where do store brands come from?

This is the best pizza sauce that Walmart offers: its own. I have a favorite that I have purchased at another local grocery store, a named brand, that I buy from there. I don't know whether or not the two would taste the same in a blind taste test and think it's possible they could be made at the same place.

Ideal for a quick yet inexpensive meal. Perfect on an english muffin or tortilla to make a quick pizza. Not too spicy or runny for a crust. Oregano, garlic, and onion are just right as sauce for a homemade pizza. I add turkey pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms and two per cent cheeses for a fast and low calorie pizza. I use in my meatloaf if I want Italian style. Family favorite!
