I really like that I can use this kettle to heat small amounts of water (like my dish water) rather than using the water heater. Just two or three carafes of the extremely hot water added to the sink is plenty for an average load of dishes.

The overall unit is quite lightweight, but does not feel cheaply made. The base that connects to the wall feels a little light but it serves its purpose quite well. I love having the speed that this offers versus boiling a pot of water on the stove or within the microwave. For the price point it does everything it should and will be a staple of my appliances going forward.
