My grandkids look forward to these every week when we have sleepovers. They love these cinnamon rolls so much. They are easy peasy to fix. They are so soft and the amount of cinnamon is perfect. I keep them stocked up in our freezer as they come in handy for a sweet treat.

You can indeed slap these right in the oven from frozen and have cinnamon rolls 35 minutes later. I never knew I needed that kind of urgency in my life. I asked my friends if they wanted to come over and have immediate cinnamon rolls, and I got a pretty universal "that's kinda weird" from each friend, and they didn't come over. So, not sure who the audience is for this. The texture is surprisingly decent for something that was a brick of frozen dough half an hour ago. Soft in the middle, slightly firm on the outside, which is more than I can say for most things that go from arctic to edible in under 40 minutes. There's a pleasant chew to them that suggests actual effort went into the recipe at some point, even if no effort is required from you now. The cinnamon filling is generous. Not "I can feel my pancreas" generous, but enough that you know what you're eating without having to check the box. It stays swirled where it's supposed to be instead of pooling at the bottom of the tray like it's trying to escape, which I respect. The flavor leans warm and bakery-adjacent rather than that aggressive Red Hots cinnamon that makes you question your choices. These work as a snack in the sense that you will eat one, tell yourself that was a nice little treat, and then eat a second one eleven minutes later while standing in the kitchen pretending you came in there for water. The baking tray they include is a thoughtful touch, because it means you don't have to dirty a pan or confront the state of your own bakeware. Rhodes understands that the person buying frozen cinnamon rolls at 9 PM is not someone who wants to think about dishes. I ate all six over the course of a day and a half. Nobody came over. Five stars.
