Amazing non-stick surface without teflon

The wok is amazingly non-stick, and it has no chemical coating of any kind (except some shipment oil to prevent rust; this should be washed before first use). Frying an egg with almost no oil is easy because it slides in the surface and can be flipped without damaging it. It also works great in an electric range; the flat part is big enough to capture a lot of the heat and conduct it to the rest of the pan, which is of substantial metal thickness. The pan is slightly heavy but this makes it spread the heat more easily. The glass lid is very useful and well built. Very happy with it.
