I watched many reviews, and after receiving this product, can confirm that V12 is the best Dyson model for apartments with hardwood and ceramic floors. It offers best of both worlds, and a good balance of ergonomics and cleaning power. V15 and gen5 are much bulkier and heavier and have the advantage for carpets and bigger homes. V12 best for - Small/medium apartments with hard floors V15/gen5 best for - Larger homes, carpets V10 - cheap
