Solid and Powerful
This hand mixer has outperformed expectations. If you suffer from any muscle weaknesses or carbo-tunnel syndrome this may not be the mixer for you as it is somewhat heavier than other mixers on the market. This machine lacks a "power boost" function(that most people are used to seeing these day's) but this should not present a problem has the 6 different speeds aliviates the need. Retractable cord is very nice feature. Attachments are some of the sturdier pieces out there, better than some more recognizable names. Storage case is also a very nice, keeps everything together, clean and protected. After a few weeks of ownership it has proven to make cake batters,doughs and whipped/mashed potatoes a far less duanting task. Nicely done Oster.

A good strong mixer!
We bought this after our not so old one from another company died. This one is fantastic! If you are looking for a lightweight one, this is not for you but if you want a mixer that is powerful, this is it. The soft case is a good feature as it makes it easier to fit into drawers and keeps it clean.

Bought this mixer almost a month ago and have used it half a dozen times. Very pleased with it, and love the retractable cord and rubber grip on the handle. Only drawback is my old mixer had little clips on the side to store the beaters when not in use. This one doesn't , but it did come with a storage bag (and extra attachments). For the price, this is a great deal.
