- STAGE 1 - Sediment Filter: 5-micron filter removes dust, rust, and sediment particles. Protects downstream filters and the RO membrane from damage. Replace every 6-12 months.
- STAGES 2 & 3 - Dual Carbon Block Filters: Remove chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, unpleasant tastes, and odors before water reaches the membrane. Replace every 6-12 months.

Happy with the ROES-50
I installed the ROES-50 about a month ago. Installation was fairly easy but I did have to make a trip to the hardware store to pick up a couple small plumbing items for the main water supply line and the ice maker line. On other reviews I saw a couple complaints about water flow but I found the water flow to be more than adequate. The taste is good and ice is much clearer than my previous RO unit. Replacement filters are better quality more affordable than my previous unit as well. Customer service is excellent! I called customer service with questions 2 or 3 times before and after my purchase and they were incredibly helpful and kind.
