Definitely a Great Product for Lower Back Issues
Over the years I have used a wide variety of patches like this for lower back pain. I would rate these right up there with the best ones I have used. The size is great for larger areas like my problem spot which is low back pain. These are approximately 4 x 8 inches. Application wise, the "easy to remove backing" I have never found easy to remove at least by trying to peel the backing off the adhesive patch. What I have found is if you take the patch out of the sealed packet and grasp both ends and pull the patch the backing will tear without damaging the patch. After that, it is very easy to peel the backing off. As for relief, they work well for about 8 hours. They do start out cold but then eventually heat up. That said, the heat is manageable. I have used some patches that heat up to the point where very quickly they are uncomfortable, or even feel like they are burning your skin. Not this type. One last note about heat, read the instructions! Don't use with a heating pad or even the heated seats in your car. External heat sources like that can very quickly accelerate the patch and make things uncomfortable.

Bengay Ultra Strength Pain Relieving Patch - Large Size (3.9 in x 7.9 in) 4 count packages For my husband, shopping means pain from standing. He tried Bengay Ultra Strength Pain Relieving Patch on Black Friday weekend and found long-lasting relief through the day. He was surprised that Bengay Ultra Strength Pain Relieving Patch was 1) easy to put on by himself, 2) that it stayed on throughout the day of moving and lifting and getting in and out of the car, but most of all, 3) provided relief for his muscle aches and pains from lower back to shoulders and upper back. He used the large size (3.9" x 7.9") for his back to hip area and the regular size (3.9" x 5.5") for this neck and shoulder areas. He took some to work to use during the afternoon as relief from a long day of sitting. Whether walking all day or sitting all day, his muscles certainly appreciate the temporary relief from Bengay Ultra Strength Pain Relieving Patch. Available In: Regular size (3.9 in x 5.5 in) 5 count packages, Large Size (3.9 in x 7.9 in) 4 count packages. The patches are a size that can be cut for smaller areas if needed.
