I recently moved into a rental house, If I did not have this steamer I would probably have moved out before I moved in. The shower was filthy this steamer cleaned it well but took some time due to how much build up of soap scum and grim there was. But it did get it clean. I have been using it on the windows, the tracks on the windows and patio doors, it just melts the grime away. The wood work is painted white I ran it across there and the dirt just falls off of it and then wipe with a clean cloth. Around the edges of the carpet it was all black so I steamed it, then when I used the shampooer it all came off with ease. I am doing the kitchen next, it is all tile with grout. I just know it will do a great job. The brushes do wear out very easy, but you really don't need them anyway. I will never do without a steamer to clean the house again. Best money I have ever spent on a cleaning product.

Great Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner for home use

I did a bit of research prior to purchasing the McCullouch MC1275 model steam cleaner. I looked at the length of time you could use the machine without having to fill it up and wait for the steam to start producing again. How versatile the machine was with its hose and accessories. How forceful was the steam jet from the machine and how safe was it to handle when the machine was in use. This model is light weight, generates enough steam to do most jobs without refilling and waiting for it to produce steam again. The attachments are sturdy, so no need to worry about getting burnt by the product itself. I was underwhelmed by my imagined desire for that blast or poof of steam while I clean the bathroom. I found it a little lacking. This doesn't mean that it does not generate that blast but I wish it would have been a bit more forceful. Still early days for me with this machine and I am sure I will get a good handle on the poofs.

A cleaning ninja!

Floors, counters, takes off dirt, grime, hairspray, some stains, ovens/stoves. easy to use. Careful around steam, it's HOT! (duh) Haven't tried greasy engine or carpets or windows yet. I expect it will clean them as well. Would be nice if accessories would all fit on the machine but it's small size is also attractive. I put all the accessories in a cloth bag I hang in the closet. If you stop steaming for a half a minute or more your steam will begin to condense in the hose and wand. I use a towel to purge the water into before I go back to mopping. Pretty impressed with this unit.
