This is one of the best purchases I have made from online shopping here. It's so practical, super easy to set up, doesn't take up a bunch of space due to its removable legs, which I didn't even know about until I received it ( Can you say BONUS?!). It's on the heavy side, so backpacking might be a little rough with it. That's actually the only negative I have about this product. I love that it's cast iron. That you can cook on it or use it as a grate for pots and pans. It also fits over certain tabletop grills. Have an induction burner? Take the legs off and you have a grate to hold your pans that don't work, allowing them to work. I'm sure there's probably way more ways this little grate can be utilized, so I would strongly recommend that you go buy this terrifically priced piece of camping/cooking equipment and experience how versatile it really is. From fun in the sun to campfire vittles by moonlight, the possibilities are endless with the Ozark Trail Cast Iron Grill Grate.

Perfect grill plate, easy to use, easy to clean, food is tastier on open grill, better than gas, easier to carry, load and put away. Non-stick plate is a plus, legs are easy to to fold and to remove. Do wish it had a carrying case but over-all it a great cast iron grill.

Great Cast Iron Grill Grate!

I was very impressed by the Ozark Trail Cast Iron Grill Grate! My family and I went hiking last weekend and decided to camp out all day and make our meals out in nature. I was excited to bring this grill grate along and try it out. It was so convenient and lightweight to throw in the trunk. The foldable legs are great, I opened them up to cook and folded them away to store back in the car which made the grate space efficient. We cooked some corn, potatoes and various other foods on the grate over a fire and the food turned out delicious. I loved the smoky taste and how easy and quick it was. I felt we were able to have an authentic camping experience. The grate is also super easy to clean. I'm excited to put it to good use during our spring/summer barbecue season coming up. It's a very good quality and sturdy appliance, it exceeded my expectations for sure!
