Absolutely does NOT fit a standard square tissue box. I ordered three and they all arrived coated in white dust. Two of them had interior magnet corners broken off and rattling around. Tissue boxes wouldn't fit. Even with all four (glued in) magnet corners broken off, a tissue box still won't fit. (standard is 4.5 x 4.75 inches, while this box's interior is 4.5 x 4.5) With all corners in place, the only tissue box that would fit inside without having to crumple it in on itself would be a 3X3 inch tissue box. Last, the photos made it look like a creamy warm marble with cocoa veining. Instead, it is a stark bright crisp White with sparkly glisteny splatters throughout which I think looks cheaper than the ad pics. I'm only going to keep this if I see that removing tissues from their box will work anyway without leaving the last five or six tissues stuck at the bottom for me to fish out.
