These moisture absorbent strips are easy to use—simply unwrap a strip and place it on any surface in the area you want to measure. The blue dots gradually change color to purple and then pink to indicate the level of moisture in the air. After 2 hours, the highest dot that changes color shows the moisture level in your space. If the 60%+ dot changes to purple or pink, there is excess moisture present. If the 60%+ dot remains blue, moisture levels are within an acceptable range.
