Brake Chamber Nut Rusted On

I'm a diesel mechanic, so we have a lot of knuckle busters. I'm down here in Houston, and a tractor-trailer came in with a brake chamber problem. This driver runs north and south, encountering snow, salt, and a lot of rust. One of the nuts that holds the chamber on wouldn't move, so I got out the Kroil penetrant with silicone and sprayed the nut down, letting it soak in. I put the impact on it, and it freed the nut right up. Kroil penetrant/silicone is truly a life saver.

Great product excellent results

I purchased this 10oz product because I wanted (needed )to replace rusted out brake lines on 2003 Chev Silverado didn't want problems removing the old lines ruining any fittings (abs box, proportional valve) this worked like a dream sprayed it on twice in 10 hrs happy to say no problems at all. Now installing the prebent total kit wasn't a lot of fun to install but the old ones 22yrs on the truck came apart so well made a hard job much easier would recommend to everyone this is the real deal

If Kroil don't work, it'll break!

Ok, I've used Kroil for decades. A friend asked what all the hubbub was and I told him if kroil dont break it loose, it ain't coming loose. I gave him some to try. He had an old, rusted, burnt out industrial cast iron stove they wanted to dismantle. They had lugged on it with impact drives, pipe extenders, everything with no success. He put the kroil on it, but FORGOT about the project for about 3 weeks. He said, when they went back to play with it again they had taken a torch expecting to burn off the nuts but figured on giving it one more wrenchin - to their amazement ALL the nuts came off with just wrench torque! Now, a true convert! (Of course this is one in 10,000 stories at how Kroil/Silikroil has worked for me!)
