Palmer's cocoa butter feels more like a balm than a lotion. It has made my skin super soft. I tried it because the ingredients listed were better than most skin moisturizers on the market at an affordable price. You can add other ingredients to it as well (like petroleum jelly if you need it more water resistant, body oil to make it nutritious, etc.). I like the texture/consistency of this product.

(for smooth and easy application: always “scoop” alittle using the back of my hand away from you (so that you don't get cocoa butter stuck under my nails) .. place into your palms and rub your hands together to melt and smooth out cocoa butter). Apply All over. I love how it smells and absorbs into my skin leaving me silky smooth without leaving a greasy feel like Vaseline and without the cold alcohol infused watery lotions that stay ontop of skin ..
