It's a little messy opening the can. So I make sure I do that over the sink wearing dish gloves. I like the versatility of sardines when planning /cooking meals. Whether they be hot or cold or just a healthy high protein snack straight from the can.

I used this to make a dip and it turned out good, I drained the sardine, then heated oil and sautéed some onions and hot pepper slices and added lemon juice and poured it over the sardines and mixed well and it was delicious with crackers
