This cake is really good. It's light enough to not feel bloated afterward and still tastes like pound cake. I make a strawberry “shortcake” as a dessert by slicing and layering with fresh strawberries, strawberry glaze and light whipped topping for a delicious dessert.

A great breakfast

I got the butter loaf cake for our family for a quick breakfast before church. We sliced it a nice size each. It was delicious. It's delicious by itself. Don't add anything. We tried adding icing icing to a little piece of it just to see how it taste and we absolutely love it by itself. Is absolutely delicious waist soft.
