Nutrish High Protein Beef, Potato & Peas Recipe with Venison & Lamb Dry Dog Food, 4 lb. Bag (Rachael Ray)

My Dog gives this 5 stars, so much so, she stopped eating our normal chicken flavor from Nutrish. lol I'm trusting her judgement it, at least taste, is better. Started a mix with all three.

I purchased this high protein dog food because my 9 month old dog became pregnant by her older brother of 14 months old. She was extremely large for her slender stature. On February 7th starting just after 3 pm the birthing. I figured maybe 4 puppies. She has births until just before midnight. At the end the grand total was 8!! So that was quite a surprise and quite a strain feeding them all. Sissy the mama was not looking good and extremely thin. I did not consult anyone I just jumped into high gear and created a high protein special food. I actually had to take her to a separate room for her to eat by herself. I was successful and I fed her that food twice a day, plus she continued to eat the regular daily dry food with her mother, brother and other sister.By the way I only feed my dogs Rachel Ray Nutrish food. I love her product line and every dog I have owned has eaten this brand. That's why I knew this new product would be great and my sweet Sissy momma bulk up and be able to feed her 8 puppies. I am a creative Gourmet cook at home and knew I could create and make a special food for her to get stronger.
