Avalon Bottom Load Water Cooler 3 Temp, Stainless/Black. 41 in

I was really looking forward to receiving this Avalon Bottom Loading Water Cooler Machine from the Wal-Mart Spark Reviewer team. This machine is an awesome change for this household. We no longer are contributing to the empty water bottles currently in our landfills. This water machine is sleek and modern looking. It has hot water, cold water, and room temperature water. There is a nice drip pan under the nozzles, which is easily removed and emptied. This machine even has a night light if you find you need it. I 'tested the hot water, with a tea bag in a cup. It was hot and was great for my cup of tea. We used a 5 gallon bottle of water that we purchased at Wal-Mart. I found it easy to set up, and the booklet that came with the machine was easy to follow.

I normally use filtered cold water from fridge dispenser, but during cold weather the water from fridge feels too cold. So I normally heat up filtered water in microwave or coffee maker. Ideally I like water at the room temperature. The Avalon Bottom Loading Water Cooler Water Dispenser is an elegant product that provides hot water, cold water and water at room temperature. After I received the product, quickly read and followed the setup instructions. I used 5 gallon water bottle. In the past I have loaded water bottle into top loading water dispenser, and I admit I hated those. Bottom loading is so much easier; you just put the probe into the water bottle and slide it in. After the power cord was plugged, it started pumping water from the bottle into dispenser's tank. I waited for red flashing light to turn off before dispensing any water. It has separate switches on the back for hot and cold water, meaning you can choose to use the dispenser for hot only, cold only or both. Though the manual says 15-20 minutes for hot water, it was ready sooner than that and it was extremely hot. I checked cold water after an hour and it was very cold. When I dispensed using Room temperature button, the water was indeed at room temperature. The dispenser is high quality, looks extremely beautiful and it goes very well with rest of our stainless steel appliances. When the compressor is on, even if it is on a flat surface you can hear the noise, I found it slightly louder than my fridge's. I highly recommend this Energy Star approved product.
