I bought this to make hard boiled eggs only. It does them perfectly every time. The appliance is also good looking and matches my other appliances so when it's left on the counter it doesn't look out of place. Mostly, I only use it once a week to cook the eggs for the week. READ THE INSTrUCTIONS first and you will not have any issues. One of the best small investments I've made. I would recommend it to everyone for hard boiled eggs to be done perfectly and to peel easily. I look forward to making a poached or small omelet with it. Note: the instructions tell you not to use meat products with an omelette. Again, just read the simple instructions. You won't be disappointed. Note: I use about 1/4 inch more water above the hard boiled water line than it specifies to do the hard boiled eggs. It takes about 15 minutes - but you don't have to watch it happen -- it turns off automatically....Don't hesitate to buy this.

I had an incident boiling egg on the stove, that was when I turn to online for egg cooker. Switches off when it's done. Cooks perfectly. This product is exceptionally cool.
