Tcl 32S3800 32-Inch 720p 60Hz Roku Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

I wanted a reasonably priced 32" smart TV and this met my expectations. It was relatively easy to set up. I am happy with the purchase. It does take a few seconds to warm up and go to ROKU once turned on but it is nothing I would complain about. I wanted to put it on the wall with a wall mount but it was an odd size where it would be mounted on the back of the TV, but once I found an acceptable mount it went up smoothly. If you plan to mount it on the wall be sure to get the proper sized wall mount for the TV.

I previously purchased a Samsung Smart TV and had a lot of issues with their Smart Hub. After returning the Samsung, I purchased the TCL from Walmart. I read many of the reviews and liked what people had to say about the set. I've owned the set for about 2 weeks now, and have not had any issues. It was very easy to set-up and use. I like the built-in Roku feature. I previously had an older analog TV, so the picture quality for me, with this set, has been perfect. There were some complaints about sound quality in the reviews I read. For the most part, I think the sound quality is fine, but occasionally it does not seem to be loud enough on certain channels. I have the set in a finished basement rec. room, and if i have a room heater running, along with my recumbent bike, both of which make minimal noise, I find I have to turn the set way up. I don't think this is a deal breaker. In the future I may look for an inexpensive sound bar, to "help" the TV. So far I'm very pleased with the quality of the set, for the price. I'm enjoying many of the free channels on Roku. Most of the free channels have older "B" quality movies, but I'm enjoying that I have some alternatives from the overly commercialized cable channels. I decided on pick-up at the store and was out the door in 5 minutes.
