Great Laptop for Gaming

battery capacity is not great even even when doing basic work stuff. This is a gaming computer so if youre gaming you should have it plugged in anyways.

Hi Blakely, thanks for choosing Lenovo! Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, we recommend utilizing the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation. We're glad to hear that your Legion Pro 5 otherwise works great for you, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.

Everything I wanted and more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a faster computer that could handle graphics and video work. I also do a lot of business stuff (MS Office, Adobe), but wanted a computer that could handle the work load. This computer does what I needed and SO much more! It's ridiculously fast, and it's great to know I can expand the memory if necessary in the future. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase!

Great addition to the Lenovo family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Lenovo laptops for years and the Legion series are a great addition. I like the clear display, smooth keyboard and stellar extended warranty options. Anything portable has some amount of risk for damage from extensive handling and I purchased a 3year extended warranty too. It's like having a local IT shop a phone call away. This is my 2nd legion brand and I am very pleased with this system. If I had to complain about anything there is a utility to do general housekeeping that costs extra, I think it should have been included with the warranty.
