Good product, overstated specs

I purchased a 608 in large part due to the promised 41K pages per cartridge. It's tough to get over 30K - apparently, HP considers 6 lines of type a full page. Very misleading.

Provided that the cartridge is not damaged or defective, ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos) will require more toner. You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save toner.
