Almost as close as a blade.

Have shaved with a blade for many years. This is my first electric razor. Not as close as a blade, but really saves time. Actually you can't tell by looking in the mirror that it's not as close as a blade. I am satisfied with my purchase, Walmart price was $50 less than most others. That makes it even better.

I have switched between razors and electric razors for 40 years. I never felt that I was getting a close shave using the electric. I have used both the rotary Norelco style and the foil Braun type, and had the same results. I was getting fed up with the rising cost of razors so I figured I would go way above my budget and try this one. I am very satisfied with the way this thing cuts. I have some tougher spots in the neck that take some extra time, but I also had that with the blades. Having the cleaning station may be a plus, but I haven't used it enough to see if the cost was justified. I also bought the charge case in case I make any trips so I look forward to staying freshly shaved while out and about. I am an older guy that never saw the appeal of a beard or stache, soni am hoping this keeps me boy face smooth.

Does a great job shaving

My husband wanted an electric razor because at 77 he was tired of using his regular razor. I did the research and he is really enjoying this razor. It also has a self cleaning container that it sits in. You just fill the reservoir with the cleaner that came with it and it's cleaned. The container also charges it so it's cordless. He said it shaves as well as his regular shaver.
