It works great

As long as the blade stays sharp. Great power is equal to or better that the gas ones and weight is about same - Im 66 and it could be lighter. My last battery operated 16" Dewalt motor caught fire when I turned the blade sideways on a stump at ground level. The fragments from the dust and moisture entered through the screen cap over the motor and started smoking. Need to have the that side of the motor facing up at ground level somehow? I want something to use sometimes and not worry about gas and carburetor damage issues. I live at near hurricane and storm areas. I also use it to keep large trees limbs and shrubs trimmed up down to a medium. Big Fought that moisture will destroy it quickly. I have lost a weed eater and chainsaw to it

Surprised

Wow! That is what I said the first time I used it to cut through an 18 inch stump. The power and cut was better than my gas chain saw and much lighter to hold. I kept cutting other trees that needed trimmed and then the chain fell off. Putting chain back on takes some time so it is important to keep adjusting the chain tension knob after a few cuts to keep it set properly and you can avoid that problem. I use it to cut 4X4 posts as it is faster than my circular saw.
