Leick Home 81430 Corner Computer/Writing Desk with Drawer and Shelf, Made with Solid Wood, Chocolate Oak

I saw this and knew it was what my loved one was wanting for the last year. I was looking for the lighter aok spectrum, but when you snooze you tend to loose? The darker one (1t one) box was all destroyed so I opened it and t first seemed ok and when I reached to top piece all went out door as top was split near in half. Called WalMArt and not two weeks later new box was at the door (more like 7 days-before Christmas)! Wife is extremely happy and that is all that is all that matters. No photos as house is torn u[ for ins. replacing flooring and all STACKED IN ONE LOCATION.

We needed a compact corner desk in each of our guest rooms so our sons can work while they are visiting. We thoroughly researched options and found this same desk on several websites at much higher prices. At the Walmart price, we weren't sure the desk would be solid wood. It is. We started with the Mission Oak which is a warmer, more Cherry wood color to go with the headboard in one guest room. My husband had this out of the box and assembled in about 20 minutes. The quality is fantastic so we ordered the second one in the Chocolate Oak. Again, we were really happy with the quality. Ours were "sold and shipped" by Design House and they arrived faster than the estimated date. We would have been able to return them to the store within 30 days by ordering from Design House. If you love them as much as we do, you probably won't need the ability to return them but it's a good option to have. If you want a piece of furniture that looks rich and expensive, this is the desk for you.
