The one she had was old and outdated and she chose this TV because of the afforable price and because she has this same TV in the living room of her home and has no complaints. The picture quality, sound and ease of use are great so she knew it was a no brainer. She loves both TV's and is looking forward to many more years with them.

This replaces a 10yr old flatscreen tv that recently went out. This is a little more tech savvy, but, I managed. I had to download the manual since the tv didn't come with one in the box and packaging. Took me awhile to navigate how things work, but, after much tinkering, I have the most important to me options figured out.
