I can't speak for the extra kinky hair girls, but the products make my hair super shiny and soft! And if I pair it with the curling cream, I get gorgeous waves :)

I initially brought another one from Mielle, and my daughter told me about the pomegranate and how great it smells, so I got it. It feels great on my head and scalp. It does feel like my hair grows back pretty fast after cutting it into a fade, and my wave pattern looks fuller as well.
