WOW!!!

This is amazing! I always dreaded vacuuming. It really is a mondaine task. This works so well and it is very fun to watch. I have to move some small rugs and it gets a little trapped under my table but is so much better then spending 45 mins doing it myself. I LOVE the app. Shows me where it's been, I can choose how often to vacuum and since I have 2 yellow labs and 3 kids I use it everyday. The fact it dumps itself is so handy. With so much dog hair it has to empty itself 2 times and I just sit back and let it do its thing. I think this would be a perfect gift for anyone. So east to use and set up. And it really cleans the floors! You will not be disappointed with this in your home! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Don’t overspend on newer models!

Oh my, this is by far the best Roomba! To be honest we think Roomba is overrated. However, it does get the job done. Mostly. (Our fav brand of robot still doesn’t offer self-empty models so we switched to Roomba for now.) Last year splurged on the i8 because we thought it would have better cleaning power but we were wrong! And we only barely use the mapping functions of the i8 and the Roomba app, which you use for all Roomba products, is awful, terrible, annoying no matter which model you have. We just bought a three story home and wanted a robot for each floor. We have the i8 we bought last year for our main floor where we may use the mapping function sometimes and now also bought two of these i1 , one each for the top and basement floors. All I do is make sure there are no loose kitty toys or big obstacles and voila, the house gets vacuumed as often as we want! We have 5 cats and both the i8 and i1 do an incredible job with hair. It’s just things like shredded cardboard (say, from a kitty scratcher) that roomba has trouble with. That’s ok though because nothing is perfect .. and at this price it’s totally worth it!

Rumba really picks it up!!

This Rumba picks up the fine dirt that my husband and dog drag into the house everyday. My floors look so much better and the Rumba doesn't run out of battery before it's done vacuuming. Sometimes it doesn't get the corners as good as I would like but for the most part I very happy. It is amazing how much dog hair it picks up.
