My god what a god send! This has to be one of the most exciting products we have in our house now! A fully automated vacuum cleaner! With work and life, it's extremely difficult to keep the house tidy and dust free. The robot came in a large green box with cardboard units. It was only wrapped in plastic with 3 main parts. The three parts were the main robot machine, home station or home base as we call it, and charging cable. The one we received was an i series with a dark silver top (almost brown IMO) and black outline. It has dark green rubber parts, strong wheels, and a sweeper arm. We felt around and everything seemed very high quality. We got a small manual and warranty paper as well. Now comes the fun part. It was very easy to set up with the app. We downloaded and installed the iRobot app on our Android phone. You just have to select the correct type of unit you have. We also set up a daily schedule to see it in action. So far it has been great with minimum noise but wowsy does the dust and debris collect. Our iRobot picks up all of the little flecks, dust, tiny insects, and microscopic pieces of stuff you just never knew was lying around on the floors in your house. Can you imagine how much vacuuming you would have to do every day to keep up the same effort and results? I would highly recommend iRobot to those who are skeptical or just busy and want to save some of their time!

Let me just start by saying I was skeptical about getting this because I had another Roomba that I actually ended up getting rid of because it just wasn't cutting it. That one however was a very old model and refurbished so I guess it had already served its time before it got to me. This new one is my new best friend. Who knew that the self empty would make such a huge difference? Not me. This robot literally does everything by itself. When it is emptying it's contents it does sound like a jet plane when taking off but only for a few seconds and then it's done. My favorite thing is I have a shag rug with long fibers that my old robot vacuum could not handle - it would get stuck every time. But THIS one handles that rug like a champ. It also says in the manual that it knows how to avoid stairs, and althoughI haven't tested that yet, that is something else my other vacuum could not do. Very impressed. App is very easy to use. Set up took less than 5 minutes (but then you have to let it charge). Yay!
