Not loud but not quiet either. Very effective tho
It is a little louder than I thought it would be. Moved it to another room and we no longer hear it. I recommend running tubing to automatically drain when it gets full. In Louisiana with humidity set at 50% it collects 6 gallons of water every 24hrs.
